The Yahoo Group is not owned by JaxReia and as such is subject to “pirating” by any unscrupulous employee or member that can get access to the password. This has happened in the past, may be happening again with Marie (she will not respond to us), and will probably happen again in the future. We MUST own our venue. We will therefore, be abandoning the Yahoo group. I agree that our discussion board is not as effective right now, but we must work with it to make it more effective as reviving Yahoo is NOT an option.

You misquoted me. I said that “reviving the old JaxReia Yahoo group” was not an option. I never said that a new “JacksonvilleReia” group was not an option. Please correct your statement. The board of JaxReia has NO MOTIVATION other than doing the best for it’s members. Yahoo has MAJOR problems in customer service and administration. You do not have any idea the pain JaxReia has experienced dealing with Yahoo. I suggest that you run for the board and do something to help the group rather than sit on the sideline and complain.
