I am purchasing a house that was remodeled by the owner, they did some
electrical work without a permit. They also have another permit that
was not completed and is still open. The building inspectors at city
hall say we have to open up the walls so they can inspect the work or
get a electrical engineer (not an electrician) to certify that the work
is OK.
Has anyone had this problem? How was it resolved? If you did get an
engineer to do the inspection who did you use?
